Marisa Kirisame

Staring towards the horizon, Marisa smiles with no fear, as she knows what she must do...

: "So Patchy received new books today... It'd be a crime to not 'ask' in 'borrowing' some from her, ze~"

This character's name is Marisa Kirisame. She's a character from a videogame (and just released a few days ago a fanmade anime) called Touhou Project. Marisa's the secondary main character in the game, and she's considered to be one of my favorite characters in Touhou Project.

This is my best drawing up-to-date. 11 grueling days of working on this, I believe I achieved what I'm looking for. (Special thanks to my brother and mom for helping point out the flaws in my drawing.)

I would have finished this sooner. However, due to my innovation of creating new ideas, I tend to abandon my current/previous ideas for the new ones, thus losing interest.

I knew this would look great in color, but the fact that I was starting to lose interest was killing the drawing, which is a no-no~

I did everything in my power to keep me interested. Inspirational music...picturing how the final product will look like...kicking butt with Marisa on Scarlet Weather Rhapsody but NEVERTHELESS! I was able to keep myself entertained long enough to see this.

Of course, my improvement in drawing will not stop here. I will keep on improving and improving until I finally achieve my goal as a mangaka!
