And unfortunately, this is where I'll be leaving 'Shatter' at for now. <__<

As you can see...
This is a major re-vamp on my comic in terms of art style and storytelling format in comparison to my previous pages.

I really focused long and hard, and analyzing (during my hiatus) as to what I should do to improve, and two things came to mind that hit me:

1) How I detailed my work
and 2) How much text I put onto each page.

I looked back at my previous pages and realized that I've been adding detail to areas that never mattered, and never added detail to places that does matter. (One major difference is adding more detail to the folds of the clothing.)

I've also changed my tones to a style that I finally prefer. For the longest of time, I hated the 'dotted' toning format, but never could put my finger on it during those times as to why I never liked it. Then I realized that it was the tones that I've chosen that made it seem amateur-ish; so I've changed it. (There will be times that I will go back to 'dotted' toning [as seen on the next page], but you'll only see me use it on more appropriate times.)

And then there's the text. I'm trying to make a doujin, not a novel, lol.

I don't want a lot of you to feel like you're reading a book, so I've decided to tone down the wording and decided to draw more.

So in any case, I hope a lot of you like the new changes to 'Shatter', and that you look forward to it on the 1st week of June, 2012.~ (And unlike this time, I won't flake out on the due date...!)
